Landhotel Alpenhof is a family-friendly hotel in a quiet and sunny location in the heart of Jungholz, only a short walk from the ski lifts and the cross-country ski run. Surrounded by the Oberallgäu in Germany and the Tannheim Valley in Austria, the family-run Alpenhof offers beautiful mountain views from its terrace. The restaurant offers traditional cuisine with Tyrolean and Allgäu specialities, and has an in-house pastry shop. Herbs from the hotel’s garden are used. The sauna and the steam bath can be used free of charge. A washing machine and a dryer are available. The new children’s playroom features board games, tabletop football, a pedal car, and much more. Landhotel Alpenhof offers parking garages for cars (for a fee) and motorcycles (free of charge). In July and August guests enjoy free admission to the public outdoor swimming pool of Jungholz. With Landhotel Alpenhof’s guest card you can use the hiking and skiing buses of the Tannheim Valley Tourist Board free of charge.

Jungholz is a family- and child-friendly holiday resort which offers ideal conditions for a relaxing and adventurous vacation at any time of the year. Activities include botanic hikes, guided mountain hikes, herbal hikes with a trained herbalist, the production of ointments and soaps from herbs, bread-baking with herbs, Nordic walking and much more. Destinations for excursions in the surrounding area include the Tannheim Valley with the Vilsalpsee nature reserve, Oberstdorf with its ski-flying jump, the historic towns of Kempten and Füssen, and the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.

Comfort Double Room (2+0)

Every room number is a lucky number. Our double rooms are lovingly and very comfortably furnished. Some rooms are herbal theme rooms, since we are a member of the “Allgäuer Kräuterland” association and would like to acquaint our guests with the subject of herbs.
Family Room for 4-5 People (2+0)

The family room is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. A baby cot is possible. The price for children varies according to their ages and will be charged directly at the hotel. Every room number is a lucky number. The rooms are very spacious (50-55 m²) and have a living area.
